Best Ever Bond (2002) — Hosted by Sir Roger Moore Part 4/8

Best Ever Bond — Hosted by Sir Roger Moore Roger Moore presents the ten best sequences ever to have appeared in the James Bond series, and cast members recall their favourite moments. It was first broadcast on ITV, 22 November 2002 and features views of many celebrity Bond fans which to me always gives an interesting and different perspective. Between the film clips and interviews is the ever amusing Roger Moore who is on top form here and worth watching to see him alone!

It is fortunate that Tracy was killed otherwise Bond would have retired and there would have been no more Bond movies. Then, what would we do on dreary Bank Holiday afternoons?

  2. “Of course, I would’ve done myself, if any of them asked” LoL!

    Roger is Bond

Excuse me, but Ian Fleming made the ending of OHMSS, not the directer of the film. Ian Fleming was a genius, and nobody reads the originals anymore, which are only portrayed in the movies by Sean Connary.

Mount Asgard is very intimidating. A rock that shoots straight up 7000 feet. That’s part of the magic of the Bond films. The most exotic locations, girls, villians, etc. It’s the worldy variety that tastes so good. No wonder little boys (and not so little) want to be Bond.

  6. No one got love for Dalton. His Bond was the darkest and much better portrayed than Brosnan’s Bond. Sean is the best. Lazenby and Craig are tied for 2nd although Quantum was terrible.

  7. Was the stunt ski jumper paid enough ?
Was he paid what they said they’d pay ?
    Business men are notorious liars.

  18. My Opinion of Best Bond
Brosnan > He could do the action !
Moore > He had the great character e. g. Voice, Looks
Connery > Personality, slight Scottish Accent.
    And then the other dudes

Lazenby got HORRIBLY advise from his agent at the time not to continue as Bond because it was thought that 007 was passe’. What a shame because I thought he made a great Bond, infusing a humanity to the character not previously seen but still retaining Bond’s physical toughness. O. H. M. S. S. has the most memorable ending for any Bond film bar none

so playboy inspired that jump? Damn I need to read/look at playboy more often.

  23. I like Lazenby, ´couse he really different part of a bond, he´s tryin´to simulate original book features. Really aprecciate in wider context, that´s very simple to judge by your subjective prejudices.

  24. Lasenby most boring Bond ever.
