Man I love Cochran but I wonder how much of Eddie’s song choice was studio driven? He was in his element Rippin And Rockin and tearing that Gretsch into pieces!!

I agree and I believe that is an honest observation not insult. His ballads never sounded natural but contrived with maybe the exception of “I Remember” and “3 Stars” If you listen to his whole catalog it is quite obvious he really sparked on the upbeat and his vocals were edgy. The slow numbers always come across like some “Elvis Mode” and rarely complimented Eddie. As a Rocker he is Top-Shelf. Elvis was one of the few who had the ability to really succeed on both sides Ballads and Rockers.

  6. Poor Eddie smashed his head in a Ford Consul Taxi on the rear pillar. Taxi driver should have done time. What a waste of talent. I have every track he produced :(

    TAN BREVE COMO FABULOSA.

    COMO UNA PETTIT SUISSE :

    CALIDAD EXTREMA EN POCO TAMAÑO.

SI NO CONTAMOS A ELVIS PARA MI EDDIE ES

MI Nº. 1 ABSOLUTO DEL ROCK & ROLL.

LA OI HACE CASI 40 AÑOS Y SIGUE TAN FRESCA.

    ¡ I M P E R E C E D E R A ! :

Hiperbólicamente, que se considera inmortal o eterna.

Que tiene un poder misterioso y divino

que crea una emoción imperecedera por sus grandes cualidades

Eddie Cochran had a lovely voice. Similar to Elvis and Billy Fury. Sadly taken so young. Very sad. RIP EDDIE.
