New Super Mario Bros. Wii – 100% #28: Lava Inc.

Battle with Kamek, 8-4, 8-5, 8-6. The fun never ends with instant death lava and other fun stuff to worry about. I’m getting closer and closer to finishing the game. Of course the difficulty will probably skyrocket, but that’s part of the fun. Where I last left off, I entered the Red Door of 8-Fortress. You fight against Kamek himself here. He will cast a spell to move the all the platforms, then he will use his magic separately to transform some of those blocks into various enemies or objects. Sometimes he might even zap out a Super Mushroom from one of the Blocks! I find it funny that I used a Koopa he zapped against him. 8-4 is an underground cavern full of water. But this is a dark one. Expect many fish foes and two new ones: Jellybeam and some large Glowfish. The Jellybeams will act like a spotlight. They will swoop down a little when you get close, but rise up again quickly. The bigger just swim around like movable light-sources. Because of the large amount of swimming needed, and Star Coin # 2 can be a pain to get, the Penguin Suit was used. Those Bloopers tried to guard the Starman(s), but they got what was coming to them. 8-5 Is a lava-bath… well it will be if you get careless. This new Gadget, the Tilt Rail Glider, will carry you across the Lava. Tilt left to go left, right to go right. Seems simple, but when Bomb-ombs parachute from above and you need to avoid magma pillars, it’s a little odd to get used to controlling the lift and not running right into …
